Deco Hallway

Welcome to the latest 3D Shards bi-monthly challenge. After the March–April round, it’s time for a fresh direction—one that puts style, structure, and visual identity at the forefront.

Theme: Art Deco

The theme for May–June is Art Deco. Emerging in the early 20th century, this style is known for its bold geometry, symmetry, and refined sense of luxury. Think streamlined forms, decorative patterns, rich materials, and a strong visual rhythm.

Your task is to interpret this aesthetic in your own way and bring it to life through a 3D creation. The approach is entirely up to you—whether architectural, abstract, or object-focused—as long as the essence of Art Deco is clearly present.

Rules

The contest guidelines remain the same:

  • Submissions must be original work created specifically for this challenge
  • at least 3 Shards product must be used
  • Entries must be completed and submitted before the deadline
  • The artwork must clearly relate to the theme

Deadline

The submission period runs until the end of June. Be sure to check the official channels for the exact cutoff time to avoid missing out.

Judging Criteria

Entries will be reviewed by both the community and the jury based on:

  • Creativity and originality
  • Interpretation of the theme
  • Technical execution
  • Overall presentation and impact
