Too many food and drink assets come ready-to-eat, but seldom support rendering scenes of people midway through eating a meal or consuming their drinks. Even rarer are food props that show the soiled plates and glasses afterward. This is where Dirty Dishes comes in!
Plates, Glasses, Cutlery and Food Props
Dirty Dishes contains a selection of crockery, glassware, and cutlery together with high-quality, sculpted food items at varying stages of consumption.
These items contain a built-in dirt surface that uses a variety of dirty-plate material presets. The dirt surfaces use custom normal maps and displacement for more realistic results. Combined with the food props, they help make meals look naturally used and lived-in.
At the end of the meal, you can have leftovers, dirty plates, glassware, and even dirty cutlery. The included standalone dForce dirt surfaces can also be used with plates from other sets.
Ready-to-Go Meals
Dirty Dishes includes pre-assembled steak dinner, burger and fries, sushi dinner, spaghetti and meatballs, and breakfast scenes containing eggs, bacon, pancakes, and sliced banana. There is also a pizza slice at three stages of being eaten and a banana with rigged peels.
Food items are supplied as individual props, allowing you to rearrange or customize each meal. Every meal includes Before Eating, Partially Eaten, and Remnant/Leftovers versions. Pre-assembled meals load as scene subsets with hierarchical groupings for easy positioning.
Ready-to-Go Drinks
Beer, soda, iced water, tap water, orange juice, milk, and wine variants are ready for posing. There’s even a wearable beer mustache for a little extra fun.
Pre-assembled drinks include the necessary components such as drink residue, bubbles, condensation, beer foam, lipstick decals, and fluids. Variants range from full to empty and include level and tipped versions. Fluids contain tipping morphs, while the supplied drink subsets are already set up for immediate use.
Additional supporting props include coasters, napkins, chopsticks, and rising steam to help tell the complete story of a meal.
