3D Shards provides a digital marketplace where independent creators (“Sellers”) upload 3D models, textures, images, and other digital assets. Sellers retain ownership of their content and are responsible for ensuring it does not infringe third-party rights.We do not provide legal advice and will respond to copyright or intellectual property claims according to DMCA or our Notice of Claimed Infringement. We reserve the right to remove or suspend content, listings, or accounts violating our Terms.3. User Responsibilities
By using 3D Shards, you agree not to:- Copy, distribute, or scrape site content without permission
- Use automated bots to overload the servers
- Send unsolicited emails or spam
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful software
- Harvest personal information from users
- Impersonate others or commit fraud
- Interfere with site functionality
- Circumvent security or access restrictions
4. Account Requirements
To purchase or sell digital assets, you must create an account. Account holders must:- Provide accurate and up-to-date information
- Keep login credentials secure
- Notify us of unauthorized access immediately
- Take full responsibility for all activity on the account
5. Your Content
“Your Content” refers to any content you upload, post, or share. You retain full copyright, but by posting, you grant 3D Shards a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, promote, or create derivative works for platform purposes.You are responsible for ensuring your content:- Does not violate any laws or third-party rights
- Is not illegal, harassing, or defamatory
- Does not depict minors in inappropriate contexts
6. Our Content
All content on 3D Shards (“Our Content”), including text, graphics, images, and software, is owned or licensed by 3D Shards. You may use Our Content only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use without written consent is prohibited.7. Trademarks
The 3D Shards name, logo, and other trademarks are protected by law. Do not use them without written permission.8. Intellectual Property Claims
We take intellectual property seriously:- Submit a DMCA or Contact us if your rights are violated
- Repeat infringers may have accounts suspended or terminated
- Even unintentional infringement may lead to account action
9. Product Purchases
- License Agreement: Purchases are subject to our FAQ-Licenses
- Payment: All prices are in USD; you are responsible for accurate payment and taxes.
- Refund Policy: Hungarian Civil Code §29(1) applies; refunds are generally not available after purchase unless the product is defective or misdescribed.
- Content Withdrawal: Assets may be removed from “My Downloads” if IP claims arise.
10. Seller Compensation
- Sellers receive payments minimum payout $50, subject to payment schedule
- Discounts, refunds, or payment disputes may adjust royalties.
- Sellers are responsible for accurate contact and tax info.
- Harmful or fraudulent actions may forfeit payments.
11. Privacy
Your use of 3D Shards is subject to our Privacy Policy. You consent to electronic communications.12. Age Requirement
You must be 18+ to use 3D Shards. If under 18, you need parental consent.13. Third-Party Links
We may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for content, services, or risks associated with external sites.14. International Use
3D Shards operates from Hungary. Users are responsible for complying with local laws in their country.15. Communications
You consent to receive electronic communications regarding agreements, notices, or updates.16. Termination
- By you: Request account closure anytime; previously posted content may remain.
- By us: Accounts may be suspended or terminated at our discretion.
- Service changes: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue services at any time.
17. Limitation of Liability
3D Shards take care about uploaded products, technical, legal, and quality way, but legal claims must be directed to sellers. We are not liable for:- Defective or misrepresented products
- User content or interactions
- Third-party services
