What is Standard License?

Unless a product page or Product Attributes section states otherwise, products on 3D Shards are provided under the Standard License.

The Standard License allows you to use the purchased 3D product to create 2D final artwork, including:

  • still renders;
  • illustrations;
  • comics;
  • book covers;
  • posters;
  • promotional images;
  • animations;
  • videos;
  • visual effects;
  • other rendered 2D artwork.

You may use these final 2D outputs for personal or commercial projects.

However, the Standard License does not allow you to share, sell, upload, redistribute, or give away the original product files, modified product files, textures, morphs, presets, or any extractable parts of the product.

You also may not use the product as a merchant resource, asset pack, texture pack, model pack, or as the basis for another downloadable or competing digital product.

If you want to use the actual 3D model, textures, or product files inside a game, app, VR/AR project, or another interactive product, you may need an Extended License.
