Time to put your nerd on and join Moth Girl for a double feature contest of all things heroic (and villainous).

Some general thingies first:

- You must use a product (or at least one piece from a product) from Sade or Sadriel's stores. Freebies don't count.
- There are 2 categories you can enter; submit as many entries as you like in either of them, but you can only win in one category.
- There will be 2 winners, one per category, who can choose 2 items from Sadriel's store.
- As usual, a free plush awaits you for participation: Mouse Plush
- The contest is intended to be zany and fun, your entry should reflect that.

Moth Girl's Adventures

Make a scene fit for a comic book panel, showcasing Moth Girl (and/or teammates, if you prefer) in an epic struggle, or go in a different direction and make a scene of Moth Girl out of costume, in everyday life.

I don't want to be restrictive, you don't have to use the Moth Girl product and are welcome to kitbash your own, but you must use the same color scheme.
Same for the teammates, you're free to make your own designs, but they must still be recognizably tv head and necromancer.

Your entry must follow the "lore", namely the powers / weakness and teammates (should you choose to use them) from the presentation. Ratu is an unofficial team member and can be use as a teammate if you want.

Saints or Sinners

Moth Girl's looking for new team members, but so are the villains. Kitbash (or model) your original superhero or supervillain, and present your application which must include:

A list of powers / weaknesses.
One render showcasing the character in a heroic pose (or villainous, depending on the side you choose to join). Think of it as a promo image, showcasing your creation.
One render of your character using one of their powers, or struggling with a weakness.

Meet The Dark Ness (the second " " is silent), Moth Girl's team of zany superheroes! Ratu was a member too for a short time, but went on to form her own team, The Vampire Debaters.
Let me introduce you to the team members and their "talents":



Moth Girl
Powers : Speed, flight, disintegrates villain clothing.
Weaknesses : Lavender, mothballs, naturists, chainmail bikini.



Juan Carlos de la Telenovela
Powers : Can hypnotize villains by playing soap operas.
Weaknesses : Backstabbing.



Mater Sceleti
Powers : This mistress of the dark arts can summon an army of cute little skellies.
Weaknesses : This mistress of the dark arts can summon an army of cute little skellies.

Oooh, I love the idea of designing a villain! Moth Girl is really cool, as well!

Until August, sorry for not replying until now, but I had no idea how long it was supposed to be.

No problem, thanks for letting us know! That should be plenty of time to get in a couple good renders

I hope I'm doing this right! I made a villain (or rather a small villain team) to fight moth girl. Here's the "Promo Page" with his powers and other information. The next post will be the render of him using his powers.



And here's The Plushie King showing off his evil powers! Along with his sidekicks, he commands an entire army of plushies! Although I must say, I'm not really sure what is so dangerous about some plushies... but he insists that he is a successful supervillain, so let's just pretend

The product that I used was "All Expansion by Sade for Hypertaf Products", I used it on all three sidekicks. And while they don't count, of course all the plushies are from 3DShards contests

This challenge inspired me to do a short comic, a 3 page lighthearted superhero parody featuring Moth Girl and her team. The comic itself would enter the "Moth Girl's Adventures" category, and a "supplement" focusing on the comic's villain would enter the "Saints or Sinners" category.
However, it is now very obvious that I won't be able to finish this project on time for the contest deadline . I was too ambitious and I am too slow.
On the positive side, I think it is shaping up well and I can't wait to share it once it is finished, probably in one or two weeks, on my DeviantArt.

I still want to enter this contest! So, here are two entries in the "Moth Girl's Adventures" category.



I actually I posted this render last week on DA as a preview for the comic. I since reworked it into a kind of "magazine cover".

This render is a panel from my comic, but I played with Silhouettes shaders by 3Diva and Llynara, and I think the effect is interesting. The actual comic uses "normal" realistic materials.

3DShards items used: Moth Girl by Sadriel and Sade, Monday by Mysticartdesign (Sceleti skin and partially dialed head morph), Goth Jewelry by Sadriel, Saegiru for Screen by Sade, Elna Fairy and Clown add-on by Mysticartdesign.

As soon as it is ready, I hope in one or two weeks. I don't make any promise because I already thought it would be ready for the contest

Though I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, it really is a dumb little thing for fun

The winner of the second challenge is fae.threed. It may have been the only entry, but not only did it perfectly capture the spirit of the theme, it is so fitting for the contests in general. Of course they're dangerous, cuteness overload is not something to be taken lightly!

Yaaaaaay!!! I'm so glad you liked my entry, I had so much fun planning it out I looked through the gallery, everyone did an amazing job. I love these contests, they are always so creative!
