I have started working on a cartoon style doghouse.
Will post progress pictures and the final mesh in this thread.

First attempt at the doghouse failed, the sculpting had messed up the mesh too much for it to be savagable.
So I am working on a hard surface version now and will add the sculpted version as a morph so you can slide cartoon on or off.
Working on keeping the UV as simple as possible so it should be easy for anyone to texture

This is looking very good!

The Mesh for the dog house is done
The mesh wont change anymore so people who want to texture the doghouse can join in on the fun.

There will be one texture set with regular wood that can also be used as a base but I will need to work on that another day.
I will also make some more morphs for the doghouse with bigger bevels and maybe some sculpting but it might be too low poly for sculpting but we will see how it goes.

I like that "doorframe" in the original, it'd be great if you could add it as an optional piece.

You are of course completely right, I thought something felt off but did not notice the lack of doorframe...

I will add it to the final mesh, the original UV won't change except for the new piece that will be added to it in the top of the UV so. Any painting that has already been done will stay the same.

I am working on making a texture for the doghouse that will be pink with floral designs. I don't know how long it will take, I've not really done anything quite like this before, but hopefully it won't be too long!

Ok, I finished a texture for the doghouse and nameplate. I'm calling it "Pink Lady", and it's all pinks and flowers and hearts, lol! The brushes I used are fine for commercial work. I hope I did it correctly! Please just let me know how to send it to you to be checked out. It was fun, I may try to make another one, maybe camouflage textured this time. It's definitely making me learn a lot! Thanks!!!

Ok, so I did some texture work on the doghouse. Those who know me, please, Ratu is my friend. They still need some work, but like I said before, besides being a cheerleader, creating 3d stuff is very hard for me.
