Well, May is Asian American Pacific Islander awareness month here in the US. Also May 1st is May Day and my brother's birthday .

May 25 is Argentina's independence day. There's also Cinco de Mayo.

I don't have ideas, but just throwing these things out.

Of course, I can't forget May 4th. "May the Fourth be with you, always."
